Acetate are an indie rock band originating from Leeds, UK. Formed in 2023, this dynamic quartet blends raw energy with melodic sensibilities, crafting a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary.
With influences ranging from the gritty britpop culture of the '90s to the anthemic indie rock of the 2000s, Acetate’s music is a passionate mix of driving rhythms, soaring guitars, and introspective lyrics. The band quickly gained a local following with their electrifying live performances and compelling songwriting. Acetate is composed of frontman and lyricist Ryan Megson, guitarist Oscar Bigger, bassist Ethan Faulkner and drummer Luke Burgess.
